Jessie Johnston Carmon is a Hall County native. She was one of the original students at Lakeview Academy. Jessie then attended and graduated from Gainesville High School. Mrs. Carmon was also a Charter Member of the Gainesville Ballet Company. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet Pedagogy from Brenau University where she was also a Professional member of Gainesville Ballet Company and served as Ballet Mistress of the Company and Co-Director of the Junior Company during college. Jessie Carmon also danced professionally with the Augusta Ballet, Ballet Tennessee and International Ballet Rotaru. After college, Jessie moved to Dalton, GA where she founded the Dalton School of Ballet and Ballet Dalton. After 8 great years, she sold the school and company and returned to Gainesville where she began working for Radio Communications selling and designing industrial 2-way radio systems for companies across Georgia. Jessie also met her wonderful husband, David, after returning to Gainesville. The hard work and discipline of all of the years of dance were the perfect background for Real Estate.
